So much discussion is made on the topic of belly fat and
burning fat but how much of it is true and of any use? We’ve seen an overload
of dietary programs for rapid weight loss via calorie restriction and specific
isolating exercises to address these issues but again, do they work and are
they really helpful in the long run?
Diet has a huge influence and is the most important factor
regarding weight management but with all the dietary programs around why are
people still rebounding and why with all the abundance of food these days are
we having a rising epidemic of obesity and overweight issues?Exercise too has a lot to play in the management of weight and health in general but its not the most pivotal factor. It is crucial for regulating the metabolism but without a good nutritional support system it leaves one fighting an uphill battle.
The next factor, and one which is most often overlooked, misunderstood and sometimes not even considered, is detoxification.
Detoxification is crucial in order for the body to function correctly and its key influences are obviously exercise and nutrition. Quite often the term detox is associated with fasting or diet restriction and both do have a part to play in the process but there is a lot of imbalance in this field of understanding.
The body itself is a miracle! It has the most amazing
ability to process what we eat to fuel the body’s ability to operate and
detoxify itself from unwanted wastes. Given the right environment the body can
function like a well-oiled machine but for the greater part of society that is
not quite a term we can use to describe how our lives are and how our bodies
operate.
Statistics
In the world today obesity has doubled since 2008 and in
places like America and Australia over 65% of adults are either obese or
overweight, our children are at a ratio of 1 in 4 and on the rise and with 5 of
the major leading causes of death being diseases and conditions as a result of
being obese or overweight, I think its easy to say that we have a serious
health issue on our hands. Obesity however is preventable!
Alzheimer's is being tipped to becoming the next biggest
epidemic in the modern world. It is the 6th leading cause of death,
1 in 3 seniors dies as a result of Alzheimer's or another dementia. It is
expected to cost the nation of America $203 billion in 2013 and expected to tip
$1.2 trillion by 2050. Alzheimer's has links to toxic chemical and pesticide
exposure, heavy metals and a barrage of other influences all leading back to
the toxic environment that we live in.
Cancer is another epidemic we see in our world today, with
statistics like 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women in Australia will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Cancer is a leading cause of
death in Australia – more than 43,700 people are estimated to have died from
cancer in 2011. Cancer accounted for about 3 in 10 deaths in Australia. Cancer
costs more than $3.8 billion in direct health system costs in Australia.
Approximately 1500 people die each day in the United
States due to cancer. About 3,400 people are diagnosed with cancer each day in
the U.S. It cost the American economy over $200 billion in 2008 and worldwide,
cancer has biggest economic impact of any cause of death
30% of cancers could be prevented
“Prevention is better than cure”
Prevention can come in many forms but primarily its in the food
we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe and the environment we live
in.
I wont go into the overload of details of how polluted out
water, food and air is but you do the due diligence and what you’ll find will
shock you. The best method in dealing with this toxic burden
that is on our lives is to maintain a healthy lifestyle of exercise and
relaxation, a healthy well balanced diet and using a great nutritional support
system and one that assists in detoxification and cleansing.
Nutritional Support System
There are many nutritional programs and products out there, ultimately you need to find the one that works for you. The best system I know of is the Isagenix system. This is a
whole body cellular cleanse and replenishing product that balances the pH of the
body, gently eliminates toxic residues in the bodies organs, tissues and cells
and replenishes the body with essential nutrients and antioxidants. It reduces
adrenal stress on the body and assists the body’s natural detoxification
process and ability to function.
I've used this product for some time and I've been able to
manage healthy cholesterol levels, increase my energy
levels and stamina, sleep very well and maintain a very healthy outlook in life, both physically and mentally.
Clinical trials have been done on the Isagenix system and
statistically
- People lost more weight with the Isagenix system than those living on a healthy heart diet.
- 47% lost more fat,
- Test subjects lost twice as much visceral fat than those on the healthy heart diet
- 35% greater reduction in oxidative stress from the Isagenix system.
- The university study showed a significant weight loss of 7 pounds during the first 9 days of using this program and all of them requested to stay on the program after the trials.
I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for something to take control of their health, lose a few pounds, or restore your energy levels to that of when you were a child to trial this product as
this provides the best system I know that addresses preventative care via
nutrition, and this truly, is the future of our health care.
Diet
As for your standard diet its important to maintain a good
balance. Life is to be enjoyed but we must watch what we eat.
- Avoiding processed and packet foods and sticking to more raw foods and fresh foods is key to good health. The antioxidant quality in fresh food is essential and is something you cant find in processed foods.
- Take the time to learn what foods you need to eat and what your body needs,
- Learn to cook, this is a life skill and something we should all be able to do.
- If you’re stuck visit a nutritionist to get some help and advice and work out a good eating plan.
Exercise
Exercise is like food also you need to find what works for
your body type and what you need to be doing. This is something that does
require motivation and discipline but it could mean the difference between good
health and chronic health issues later in life. We were designed to move, lift,
carry, walk and run so we need to maintain that in our lives and keep mobile.
Again like the diet you may need to see a personal trainer or visit a gym what
ever it takes just keep active.
- Take on a gym membership
- Maintain a daily, weekly exercise program and set personal goals to pursue
- Hire a personal trainer.
- Get off the couch and don't be lazy!
The Challenge
So what are you going to do about your health today?
- Are you going to continue to sit back on your laurels and do nothing or are you going to heed the message I've just shown you and take some action?
- You cant make it your next New Years resolution because for some of you, you may not be here by then.
- Now is the time to do it!
- Now is the time to self motivate!
- Now is the time to take control of your health and give yourself the reassurance that you know you have done something about it.
I challenge you to set yourself a goal, visit that personal trainer and that nutritionist. I challenge you to trial a good nutritional support system (contact me via my contact page if you want info on the product I mentioned) and see the results for yourself!
